How the mighty Fairfax has fallen

Two street posters I spotted today for Fairfax’s lamer-than-lame-attempt-at-a-cool-yoof-advertising-bait-website:

I have no idea if they’re standard ads or if they’re promoting some special feature, and to be honest I really couldn’t care less.

I don’t get it. My youth is officially over.

Hey Scott, it would make my week if something I wrote got onto your ‘worth reading’ list.

Did you want to make my week…??

    Yes to both.

I once waxed my stomach for an operation. Turns out I waxed the wrong spot. They had to shave anyone. In the end my Sean Connery esq thatch of chest hair was reduced to my left pec.

I looked like the mirror image of the Australian flag.

It’s not about what images or words that the ad coveys, it’s about getting your attention.

These ads, however, are a reflection of not only the fuckwits at The Vine but also the fuckwits who work in advertising and think they are creative.

They are actually most likely not just stupid but criminal…..
